Catholic Life of the School

Posted on 9th March 2017

Our Lenten Day of Faith was really enjoyable today.

The children had the opportunity to listen to a representative from Mary’s Meals, our chosen charity this year. They were all given a Mary’s Meals money box with a porridge sachet included.

The mugs are used to feed children in 14 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. Each child receives one mug full of porridge a day. This year we are hoping to raise money for the charity by the children doing chores around the house for a donation.

The money can be collected in the money boxes and bought into school after Easter. The children can keep the money boxes and hopefully enjoy the porridge!
